July 2015 Executive Board minutes & Upcoming PRIDE Events

Minutes from the Executive Board meeting in July are included here (ACCCEA Minutes_Jul_21_2015) and under “Media” (In your dashboard, to the left). Highlights include: Election of Umbrella Officers. Please join me in congratulating President Caesar Niglio, Vice President Sandi Greco, and Secretary Jim Sacchinelli.  Treasurer position to be voted on at August Exec. Comm. mtg. Thank you to the outgoing officers for their dedication to our Union. The NJEA PRIDE Committee is in need of volunteers for the upcoming New Student Day Orientations in August.

The regular meetings of the ACCCEA Executive Board were officially moved to the third Tuesday of each month, beginning with July’s meeting.  Our next meeting will be on August 18th at 12:30pm in J202.  We will again have the capability to video conference or conference call with AC (room 215) and CMCC (CM113).  Everyone is invited, but we ask that you RSVP so we make sure there is enough space and lunch available.  Please RSVP to cgarwood@atlantic.edu  by Monday, August 10th if you would like to join us.

Thursday, August 6, 2015 Mays Landing Campus

Monday, August 10, 2015 Atlantic City Campus

Tuesday, August 11, 2015 Cape May Court House Campus

This year ACCCEA PRIDE will be handing out note-books, pencils, and highlighters to our incoming freshman students. We will begin set up at 9:00 a.m. and continue distribution until 12:00 p.m.; see the shift time listed below and choose one that best works for you. Make sure to check first with your supervisor.

Volunteer Shift Options

9:00am – 9:30am                       9:30am – 10:00am                   10:00am – 10:30am

10:30am – 11:00am                    11:00am – 11:30am                   11:30am-12:00pm

Please contact Victor Moreno vmoreno@atlantic.edu or 609-343-5646 to confirm your participation. We kindly ask that you please wear your red PRIDE t-shirt. (See Sandi Greco if you need a t-shirt).
